Travel X-Ray Technician (AART Certified)

Purpose and Scope:

We have Full and Part-time Positions available working day or evening shift. Immediate opening for a Travel X-Ray Technician (AART Certified). No experience is required; Training will be provided. Our mobile services provide excellence in customer service and patient care. We have several part-time and Full-time opportunities available.

This role is a TRAVEL TECH position and will most likely require you to commute to our desired destination. A company car is provided.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

X-Ray Technologist must be competent in the following:

  • Explaining the procedure to the patient

  • Positioning the patient properly

  • Positioning Radiation protection devices such as lead shields

  • Setting X-Ray equipment at the correct angle and height over the appropriate area of a patient’s body

  • Setting Controls on the X-Ray machine to produce X-Rays or radiographs of the appropriate density, detail, and contrast

  • Placing exposure board beneath and under the part of the patient’s body to be examined and make the exposure

  • Computer literate

  • Transmitting images via web-based PACs system

  • Following Physicians instruction and orders precisely

  • Keeping patient records and adjust/maintain equipment

  • Ability to travel short and long distances to place of service

 

Education & Qualifications:

  • ARRT with Current TX requirements

  • Salary based on Experience however the range is $25-$38/hr
